Plan now to make 2012 your best year ever. It’s essential that you develop a business plan to achieve success in the coming year. By implementing  you will begin to see the success you deserve .  If you’ve already created your plan, compare it with your 2011 production to ensure you’ll reach your desired income level.

A business plan is an excellent tool to get your business started on the right track. However, without the proper implementation, it can become outdated and will no longer be useful. Once you’ve laid out your goals, you must identify how you will use your resources to achieve them. You must show leadership while remaining flexible and creative — and tough enough to accept when something does not work.

A successful implementation plan contains five key components:

* Action planning  – what are your objectives

* Accountability

* Working the plan

* Reviewing progress

* Adjusting if needed

Advantages to Closing By End of Year!

It’s holiday time at Coldwell Banker NRT Development Advisors!  Our sales associates are busy finalizing contracts to close by year end. What are the advantages of writing a contract now and closing by end of year?

1) Tax Savings. Closing by December 31 allows you to deduct mortgage interest, property taxes and points on your loan.

2) Homestead Exemption. The home of each resident that is actually occupied and used as the primary residence by the owner may be granted a monetary exemption from state, county and school taxes except for school taxes levied by municipalities.

3) Year End Incentives. There is a good chance that the selling is willing to negotiate more and add additional incentives to close by year end.

4) A place to call home.  homeownership is still the American dream.
